item enhancement tool – The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the item level by +3. A random substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

    Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item however, they are always cheaper than buying new gear. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

    Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for various currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor. The button will show a preview of an item’s next upgrade level if there are enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the item slot and the current item level and the weapon’s price is higher than gloves or bracers for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Certain upgrades provide discounts on Flightstones. After an item has been upgraded to a certain amount, it can be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lower amount of the two currency types.

Many locations have upgraders for their items in addition to the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon as well as the possibility of getting a new recipe. The discount on upgrades increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased by having players complete certain achievements or quests.

Unlike Cromwell in Baldur’s Gate II is no upgrader for items in the beginning of Icewind Dale. Instead the NPCs that are available to help with upgrades require various methods which is both an improvement but also a drawback.

In Season 3, the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with several new features added. After a player has earned an upgrade to a particular item level for a particular armor slot, upgrading additional items to the same level will be less expensive, even when they are part of an entirely different set of gear.

The amount of Valorstones required to upgrade is reduced and the discount is account-wide. Similarly, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players have reached certain achievement milestones.

    Crests

When it comes to upgrading gear in WoW players have a couple of choices. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more special, and are used during specific level upgrades for items. Crests are an integral element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System, which was introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

First, you must be aware that the crests can only be purchased for equipment that is of a certain rank. Each rank comes with distinct upgrade paths. The simplest and simplest upgrade route costs 15 crests while the most complex requires as many as 20 crests depending on the kind of gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by working through tasks at the appropriate level. This could be by doing outdoor activities, or by doing dungeons or raids in all difficulty levels to obtain lower-level gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons that have a high difficulty for gear in the endgame. These crests can be exchanged with an upgrader such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and pathways.

Using these new currencies isn’t that difficult, but the system will introduce a few changes to the overall upgrade process. When a piece reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it no longer requires Flightstones. This change is intended to allow players to get their gear up to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It’s also crucial to choose crests wisely, as they are only used for one purpose. For instance it’s a good idea to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests with the best equipment available and then save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you’re planning to make. This is particularly true for items like rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character, that will be able to benefit from the account-wide discount when all of the slots are filled with high-quality gear.
