Call Of Duty Heading To “New Console”

According to a Job Application from the Call Of Duty developer Treyarch, “Treyarch is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for a position on the team bringing our hugely successful game to a new console.”

The studio has not created a product outside of the Call Of Duty franchise since their 2008 James Bond: Quantum Of Solace and Spider-Man: Webs Of Shadows.

They could simply be porting Call Of Duty to a console that previously did not have it, or they may be creating an entirely new Call Of Duty title for an upcoming console, such as the PlayStation 4, the next Xbox or the Wii U.

Either way, I can’t wait to see what they do.
