Yup, we’re just saying this right now. The Nintendo Wii U, when it launches on November 18th, will totally not, ever, in a million years, be used as a crapware party arcade platform.
Nah, with all things new, crap tends to follow, and unfortunately, game developers of today have the skill of Hollywood; they know how to make big-budget productions, but no longer see development as an art-form.
So, expect a bunch of party titles that make cheap use of the touchscreen, camera and motion technologies that the Wii U supports. Hell, I wouldn’t be too surprised if such a party game manages to outsell the almighty Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2. Well, at least the Wii U version of the game. 😛
Oh, speak of the devil – the console hasn’t even released yet, and we’ve already got ourselves an official Wii U ‘party’ accessory.
Yay 🙁
